FIBA Technologies has secured a further contract to supply high pressure gas vessels to the US space exploration industry.
This follows on from a series of major contracts to supply space sector customers around the world over the last five years, including NASA.
The latest order is for nitrogen tubes to be deployed at Cape Canaveral. Assembled within I-beam structures, the tubes will be able to operate horizontally or vertically.
FIBA Technologies’ Sales Representative, Kaio Barbosa, comments: “The space sector is increasingly important to FIBA and we are investing to meet that growing demand.
“Our new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Sweden, opening in 2026, will produce the high pressure gas vessels with a larger water volume that the space industry demands.”
