United Launch Alliance (ULA), the joint aerospace venture formed by Boeing and Lockheed Martin, is to install 140 helium storage tubes from high pressure vessel manufacturer FIBA Technologies as part of ULA’s expanding launch facilities.
As a launch service provider, ULA operates at the cutting edge of the space exploration sector, building and operating heavy-lift rockets for NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and commercial customers including Amazon. ULA built the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage to enable NASA’s Artemis II to orbit the moon.

FIBA is the leading supplier of high pressure gas storage to the global space sector, supplying the industry in Europe, USA and India. These latest vessels will be installed on a launch pad in Cape Canaveral, FL.

FIBA’s Dave Falzone comments: “The launch of space rockets requires state-of-the-art design and engineering in every component. FIBA is proud to meet the high standards that the global space exploration industry demands. We are excited to be playing a small part in the ongoing success of this growing sector.”
