After a collapsed phone pole caused a power cut at FIBA Technologies, the leading high pressure gas vessel manufacturer and trailer service experts, the team got the power back up in under 24 hoursFIBA Technologies’ expert team at its Louisville, Kentucky service center has got the site back up and running less than 24 hours after a power pole holding three transformers collapsed against the building in a severe storm and cut off the plant’s power, bringing work to a standstill.

The dramatic moment when the pole crashed into the FIBA building during a major storm was caught on a security camera. The electricity lines were immediately torn away from the building and all the power was cut, halting all testing, servicing and repairs.

Working with the local power company, the FIBA team got the site back up in less than 24 hours.

FIBA Plant Manager, Gray Allred, said: “The FIBA Louisville site specializes in the repair and re-test of trailers and manufacturing of vaporizers. Due to unforeseen storm damage, the FIBA Louisville facility was temporarily shut down. Initial assessments suggested the closure might last several days. However, thanks to our team’s quick response efforts and strong collaboration with the local power company and electrical contractors, the facility was fully operational by that evening. The FIBA Louisville team worked together to ensure that this setback did not impact customer wait times and that our quality services continued to be delivered efficiently.”
