The annual Airgas Truck Driver Rodeo has become a regular fixture in the gas industry calendar. It gives professionals from across the sector the opportunity to meet up, share experiences and enjoy each other’s company. This is why the FIBA team enjoys it so much.
At the Rodeo, drivers compete to display their skills with stunning manoeuvres and precision truck and trailer handling. There is also a truck maintenance competition. This year, Freightliner hosted the event at its Houston, TX location.
Dan Spalding, FIBA’s Parts Sales Manager, sums up why the Airgas Rodeo is so good:
“FIBA was a sponsor at the Rodeo this year, which puts us front and center with our customers and suppliers. We had some great conversations with mechanics, drivers, and depot managers from right across the US.
“These are the people who rely on us to help keep them on the road and who see FIBA’s spare parts department as an extension of their own workshops. We stock and ship every part for every trailer, which is why we have such good relationships with these people.
“The Airgas Rodeo was also a great chance to meet the vendors who are so critical to our operation.”
