The helium market continues to evolve and grow. As helium market commentator Phil Kornbluth, of Kornbluth Helium Consulting, told Gasworld magazine recently: “Nothing is ever 100% predictable when it comes to helium.”
At FIBA we have been experiencing a continuing growth in demand for our specialist helium trailers. Both Massachusetts-based gas distributor AGP (American Gas Products) and Texas-based independent SYOXSA Inc have continued to expand their helium transportation fleets with FIBA trailers, including Super-Jumbo Tube Trailers.
AGP’s 2024 trailers order follows hard on the heels of a previous one placed in early 2023. While in El Paso, SYOXSA added two new FIBA helium trailers to its fleet this summer.
Both companies have experienced an upsurge in demand for helium. With FIBA acknowledged as the leading manufacturer of high-pressure gas storage and transportation solutions, this demand for trailers is continuing to rise, so FIBA is manufacturing for both sale and for lease.
As SYOXSA’s General Manager, Esteban Trejo, comments: “The helium market is certainly very active for us, from balloon grade to ultra high or research grade purity, and the investment in FIBA trailers is a key step of our ongoing growth plan.”
