FIBA has 8 locations worldwide. Seven facilities are located in the United States and one is in Taiwan. Each of these facilities is well equipped to handle, repair, requalify and manufacture various ranges of gas containment products. Below are some details on some of the facilities:
Adelanto caters to the West Coast industrial gas industry offering test, service and repair for both high-pressure and cryogenic gas containment equipment. The facility has over 25,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The site offers many of the same key capabilities as Ohio and Kentucky, like painting, blasting, and welding. The site’s acoustic emission test capability is a convenient offering for west coast fleet operators. High pressure cylinders can also be requalified here. This site also manufactures ground storage assemblies for the alternative fuels industry and servicing related equipment.
This facility carries a “U” stamp for manufacture of our ASME coded cryogenic tanks. The facility also holds an “R” stamp for the rehabilitation of both transportable and stationary cryogenic trailers and vessels and CO2 vacuum-jacketed receivers.
This location offers over 70,000 square feet of manufacturing space and dedicated buildings for acoustic emission testing and cryogenic equipment testing and repair. The new equipment manufactured here includes high-pressure tube trailers, cryogenic transports and gas/liquid handling modules. With its shotblast and paint booths, high capacity cranes, welding equipment and knowledgeable team of technicians, the facility is well-prepared to manufacture, test, service and repair cryogenic equipment, tube trailers, and other gas containment products.
This facility services the Mid-Atlantic region of customers and provides both manufacturing and service. Our East Greenville shop manufactures and provides requalification services for high-pressure tube trailers, DOT and ASME receivers and ABS/ISO skids for industrial and specialty gases. Also carrying an “R” stamp, this location is an ASME and National Board approved repair facility for cryogenic portable tanks, bulk tanks and cryogenic trailers.
Our Louisiana facility serves our Southwestern and Deep South customers and provides assemblies for all of our high-pressure vessels and trailers. Like all our facilities, this DOT authorized facility performs testing and requalification in addition to new manufacturing of some of our product lines.
In 2011, FIBA opened a brand new facility in Taichung, Taiwan to support the repair and retest needs of customers throughout Asia. This new facility expands FIBA’s reach and offers the same services and quality that FIBA provides at its repair facilities in the United States. Customers can expect 5 and 10-year requalification certifications for B and Y cylinders and jumbo tubes or pressure vessels from FIBA in Taiwan. In addition, blasting, painting and other rehabilitation services are available to make your equipment like new.
