FIBA Technologies, the Massachusetts-based manufacturer of high-pressure gas storage and transportation solutions, is seeing increased demand for its hybrid trailer.
The hybrid trailer features high pressure gas tubes held within a modified skid frame which can be easily removed from the trailer chassis. This design reduces the cost of manufacturing and long-term maintenance costs.
FIBA Sales Director, Chris Finn, is anticipating continued demand for the hybrid trailer:
“We have taken the well-established skid design and the traditional trailer design and combined them together, providing a more robust trailer design for our customers at a reduced cost.
“We designed this trailer about 10 years ago and see continued growth as our customers choose this solution over a traditional integrated trailer. We attribute this change in demand for the hybrid design to the fact they are more economic in terms of price and maintenance costs.”
