As gas transportation fleets remain focussed on their budgets, it is no surprise to see a rise in demand for the hybrid trailer. This is an amalgamation of the well-established skid design and the traditional trailer, which provides a robust trailer at a reduced cost.
The hybrid trailer features high pressure gas tubes held within a modified skid frame which can be easily removed from the trailer chassis. This design reduces the cost of manufacturing and long-term maintenance costs.
Although this design has been available for around ten years, FIBA Technologies is currently seeing a growth in demand for it, as customers choose this solution over a traditional integrated trailer.
Much of the upswing in demand can be put down to the fact they are more economic in terms of price and maintenance costs.
