FIBA Technologies Inc has invested in a thorough refurbishment of its Louisville, Kentucky service center, re-opening the four bay facility as a focus for the company’s test, repair and maintenance business.
FIBA KY is the hub for the repair, renovation and requalification of high pressure trailers and assemblies for the entire region. Services it offers include ultrasonic and acoustic emission testing, a full disassembly and trailer rebuild capability, shot blasting, and painting.
The site also performs cryogenic product testing and repairs.
The 35,000 sq. ft. facility was originally bought by FIBA in the late 1970s and has undergone a comprehensive refit project over the last three months.
FIBA Sales Director, Chris Finn, oversaw the project and comments: “We have renovated and restored our Kentucky site and expanded its capabilities to meet a growing demand for repair and requalification across the board for high pressure products.
“This is a well-equipped site with an excellent team of 30 people. The FIBA family of employees is rightly proud of the work we have completed in Kentucky.”
FIBA Louisville is also home to FIBA’s growing vaporizer manufacturing subsidiary, FinnCo.
