FIBA is attending the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) Cylinder Requalification Operations Safety Seminar being held from October 2 to 3, 2012 at Hilton Durham near Duke University in Durham, NC. Attendees will hear from government and industry experts on ultrasonic examination, acoustic emission, and hydrostatic requalification, visual inspection methods and acceptance criteria, the role of independent inspection agencies, historical and retrospective experiences, and an overview of related CGA publications. Attendees will also have an opportunity to tour nearby cylinder and tube requalification facilities. Requalification facility managers, product design engineers, senior review technologists, senior test personnel, middle managers and executives, operational support, and other related personnel are encouraged to attend.
