Cylinder Testing
FIBA provides full testing services for cylinders at each plant, to include testing, drying, blasting, priming, painting, cleaning, evacuating, repair and replacement of hardware, labeling, decaling, analysis, and ID preparation.

Tube Trailer & Skid Requalification
Each of FIBA’s DOT-authorized requalification facilities performs full retest and reconditioning of tube trailers and skid containers, including internal visual inspection and cleaning, requalification by hydrotest, AET or UE, welding and bodywork, DOT inspection and maintenance of brakes, lighting, running gear, etc., shotblasting and painting of tubes, chassis, and framework, and full application of DOT placards, labels, and customer-supplied logos.
Cryogenic Repairs & Maintenance
Cryogenic rehabilitation is performed at our Louisville, KY
and East Greenville, PA facilities. Both facilities
are ASME-coded shops and holders of the "U" and "R" ASME stamps which allow manufacturing and repair of cryogenic vessels, both transportable and stationary. Capabilities include leak detection,
complete equipment refurbishment, stretching of cryogenic transporters, product conversions, vacuum-jacketed line work and field service. All our repairs come with a one-year warranty of the vacuum integrity. FIBA also can provide simply the PKVI tests
and inspections or repair of any component of the tank trailer should full rehabilitation not be necessary or desired.
Engineering and Design
FIBA Technologies, Inc. employs Professional Engineers and experienced designers to insure that the products we sell are the finest in the compressed gas and cryogenic industry. Using CAD systems, we can design a cryogenic or CO2 tank from start to finish. We use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for our tank designs and produce tanks that are rated for Seismic Zone 4. Our engineers have a full knowledge of the industry codes, including DOT, ASME, CGA and IMO, to insure that the product is safe, efficient and in full compliance with all pertinent regulations. To assist with the design of systems for compressed gas distribution, we have developed programs for gas flow analysis, compressor efficiency, and the calculation of gas volumes and bridge weight law compliance to insure optimum product payloads. We can provide drawings to our customers of general arrangements or as built, and our engineering expertise is available to our customers for consultation.
