MILLBURY, MA – FIBA Technologies, Inc. is the first company to successfully conduct a series of impact tests on its tube trailers, intermodal skid containers and portable cryogenic & carbon dioxide tanks. Performed over the past 12 months, these physical tests (combined with structural and finite element analysis) provide conclusive evidence that FIBA’s equipment design will promote industry safety.

The testing confirms that the design and construction of new FIBA containers comply with the 4-g impact testing that became mandatory effective January 1, 2004. As a result, FIBA containers have been certified for widespread, international, intermodal transportation of compressed and liquefied gases. This includes highway, rail, and ocean freight.
