FIBA has installed a new, robotic stamping machine to apply the DOT, ASME, and ISO markings to the ends of our seamless steel pressure vessels and tubes. This is one case where the robot was well appreciated by the humans that had previously been performing the work! As you can imagine, hand stamping is a time consuming and physically demanding process. It’s also relatively dangerous to the operators. This robot improves speed and accuracy and enhances employee safety.
