This
venture skyrocketed and, in turn, changed
our corporate focus. In 1976, MOE sold off
its compressed gas distributorship in
exchange for a fleet of high-pressure gas
transportation equipment consisting of 425
small tube trailers. Today, working as a
team, FIBA Technologies, Inc.
manufactures, rehabilitates and tests the
equipment and offers it for sale or lease.
Incorporated in
1988, our LA facility operates a repair and testing
facility in Rayne, Louisiana. FIBA Technologies,
Louisville, KY operates in Kentucky as a manufacturing,
testing, and repair facility serving the
cryogenic and high-pressure gas markets.
FIBA Technologies, Louisville, KY is the
consolidation of two companies, FIBA
Cryogenics (incorporated in 1979) and
Five K Compressed Gases (incorporated in
1984). Formerly, FIBA Mid-Atlantic, LLC
(established in 1997), our PA facility (operating
in East Greenville,
PA) performs manufacturing
and retesting of high-pressure tube
trailers, receivers, and skids and also repairs cryogenic and
CO2 transport trailers and
DOT/IMO containers. Other
companies associated with FIBA include:
Finnco Corporation, which manufactures and
markets ambient vaporizers, and FIBA's
ultrasonic testing division, UltraTest,
which markets ultrasonic cylinder testing
and related equipment.
Between all companies, FIBA employees
approximately 200 full-time people. FIBA
is very service oriented in both its manufacturing
and leasing operations and the company
places much emphasis upon its technical
and problem-solving skills. FIBA is known
as an innovative company, and often leads
the industry with its equipment designs
and testing technology. We hold a variety
of permits, patents and exemptions from
the U.S. Department of Transportation,
giving us the competitive edge with many
of the major gas suppliers.
Thank you for your interest in FIBA Technologies.
