FIBA Awarded Contract for ASME Hydrogen Pack
FIBA was awarded a contract to manufacture an ASME, hydrogen receiver assembly with 3-zone, automatic cascade controls for installation at the National Renewable Laboratory in Golden, Colorado, the U.S. Department of Energy's primary lab for renewable energy and energy efficiency research, development and deployment. The order was placed by Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) who has designed and constructed the existing hydrogen systems and fueling station for NREL. FIBA's equipment increases capacity and adds cascade filling capabilities to the on-site, hydrogen filling station. The hydrogen is produced from renewable wind and/or solar energy for fuel cell powered light duty vehicles and buses and to provide peak electricity to the rid.
