| FIBA
offers a variety of tube trailer models to
accommodate numerous gas types, payloads,
and pressures. All equipment is built
to comply with the regulations of the U.S.
Department of Transportation (DOT) with regard
to Hazardous
Materials Safety, Federal
Motor Carrier Safety, and National
Highway Traffic Safety. Below you will
find a brief description of our three (3)
main categories of tube trailers, some illustrations
of the typical trailers, and links to marketing
flyers that describe each in more detail.

Modular Trailer
We
manufacture for sale and lease
conventional tube trailers, which have
18 to 54 tubes to supply a variety of
product volumes.
Our tube trailer is
manufactured in a patented, modular
design (U.S.
Patent No. 4,784,399; dated 11/15/88)
to allow for the Acoustic Emission/ |
| Shearwave
testing up on the chassis, thus
reducing the maintenance costs at the
time of retest.
FIBA now holds
DOT
Special Permit 9847, which authorizes
Acoustic Emission Testing (AET) of DOT
3A and DOT 3AA tubes.
To allow this test,
conventional tube trailer bundles must
be re-formatted into the patented,
modular design. |

Intermediate
Trailer
Our newest tube trailers are the
Intermediate line.
Intermediate tubes are
assembled in banks of 5 tubes. The 18" OD, 3AAX tubes,
available in lengths of 19' and 38', can provide mobile
or stationary storage. |

The
18” OD tubes are an excellent
alternative to aging 9-5/8” OD
conventional tubes, and their pressure
and size can result in gas payloads
that sometimes exceed those of 22” OD
jumbo tube trailers.

Superjumbo
Tube Trailer
Manufactured
for sale or lease, Superjumbo tube
trailers with 10 tubes and a 44 foot
chassis, operate with pressures in
excess of 3,200 psi, thus insuring the
largest road payload in the industry
and optimal pressure transfer.
The Superjumbo trailers are
also formatted to take advantage of
AET that FIBA is certified to perform
by
DOT
Special Permit DOT- ESP 9847.
We provide Superjumbo trailers
for all types of gases. |
